It's the PPE, dude!
Recently I have been testing my boundaries and trying to move outside of my comfort zone. There are things in my life that I have been wanting to do for myself that I know I will enjoy, but I have been afraid to do them for whatever reason. In the last few weeks I have pushed myself out of my safe bubble and just done it.
After about two years of being off and on with my blog, I am going to make a valiant effort to continue to write, because its what I really love to do. My very first blog post that is floating around the inter webs somewhere was my very first Pumpkin Patch Extravaganza, or PPE as I like to call it. I planned the original PPE just for my first big post which was so fun that I have ended up doing the PPE every year since. This year was probably my favorite year yet. It felt so much more festive than it usually does, which I am all for.
For the girls in the group, the PPE is a big deal. We bring multiple outfits and are just the most extra. We take a million pictures and make the boys participate when all they really want to do is eat pie and drink hard cider.
I love this time of the year. I always have and I probably always will. The fall and winter are just so much better than spring and summer but it seems to go so much faster. The fashion in the fall/winter time is also in my opinion so much cuter! During the Spring and Summer I find it really hard to dress because I always feel so BLAH, but this time of the year is so refreshing and you can style things so much more. Can we talk about this jacket? IT IS EVERYTHING! I recently did a binge shop from Urban Outfitter and this jacket is one of my absolute favorites. Honestly outerwear is my favorite type of clothing. I think it's because it makes such a statement like BAM HERE IT IS!
ALSO! Aren't my little friends just the cutest? They had such cute looks this year that I was so impressed with, especially because we were up and ready the morning after Zombie Crawl. We are honestly the most extra. When we were taking these photos most people were looking at us because it was a real life photo shoot. We had a really big group this year at the PPE. I think was was about 11 of us, which is twice the size of the first PPE. We also went much further this year than the first (2 and a half hours). This post was all over the place, but I promise the next one will be more organized, maybe haha! This is just an amazing time of the year. I hope you are also having a great time this year and doing things that you might not do. Try them and see if they excite you. I love writing and creating things, so I will being doing them as much as possible.
I hope you all enjoyed the post and I hope to see you back. Happy Wednesday!
Lovely Thoughts and Outstanding Taste,
Ryann
