Holey Schmidt!!!
Bum Bum BUUUUUUUUM and now announcing another new business that has just opened up in Reno that gives me a reason to spend money and take pictures!!!!!! You guys! Holey Schmidt Donuts just opened and boy oh boy did they not disappoint. There is a very rare time, and I mean very rare, that I will ever turn down something sweet. So when I heard that a specialty donut shop opened up in Reno I was so ready for the photo op and to shove as many chocolate donuts in my face as possible. Not only was I excited for the cool donuts (obvi because who wouldn't be) but business owners in Reno do a great job with aesthetic so I knew I would get some great pictures!
First lets start with the donuts. They had such a variety! So many cool and funky flavors that surely everyone can fins a donut that they will like. I wanted to have a nice mix of donuts. I purchased a half dozen and I was mostly excited about the chocolate ones clearly. Starting at the top left we had the Samoa. Your classic Girl Scout cookie flavors were so so so yummy! It was my second favorite. Following to the right is the Dirt and Worms which were those fun throwback pudding cups you would make at summer camp. It was so good and my favorite. Even just writing this now I want to walk there a get one. The next three I wanted to expand my donut pallet if you will so I got some more sweet and fruity ones. The Circus Animal pretty much tasted like a birthday cake so you can really go wrong and the Cap n Crunch was another childhood throw back that I was pleased with but I did kick myself that I didn't have milk. I also did NOT eat these alone. I met up with some friends and had a little donut taste test party! Next was for sure my least favorite. I didn't like this one at all actually. When I was ordering it took me about 15 minutes and the gentleman helping me was pushing the Pink Lemonade on me pretty are so I started to get stressed that he was trying to finish me up so I just picked it. Very tangy... like a lemon. Im more of a sweet girl than a sour girl. Lastly was the Rocky Road and she was a surprise! It was also a fan favorite! It tasted identical to rocky road ice cream. Over all I would highly recommend!
Now on to something not as tasty but just as fun... CLOTHES! It wouldn't be me if I didn't take a simple outing and turn it into a photo shoot! Reno has been having some weird weather. My last blog pot which was only like two weeks ago it was like 75 degrees, and here I am typing this in a huge snow storm. Yesterday when I got the donuts it was a decent day out and this outfit I have been obsessed with so why not share it with you all? Staring from the top I have one of my favorite things in my wardrobe and that is my Friends t-shirt! If you didn't know, Friends is one of my all time favorite shows. I am constantly watching it. Then a little bit lower you can see my Asos belt. I just recently hauled this in my last youtube video. Then I am wearing my old faithful fashion nova jeans that are my most worn jeans. They are a dupe of the Top Shop Joni jeans that kinda made the one slit in the knee trend popular. And the great thing about Fashion Nova is that they fit thick girls so if you have a booty they for sure have a size that will work for you. And finally another favorite are my shoes which I also hauled. They were definitely an investment, but so worth it and I love all the detail on them like the studs and tassels. I wear them at least 4 times a week and they are so comfortable. The slip on loafer has really hit the scene within the last year and they are a staple for me right now.
I hope you're all having an amazing week! It's almost the weekend so hold strong, we're almost there!
